Rainbow After the Storm

A public art project to boost moral in Super-storm Sandy hit Coney Island. Read the blog and find more pictures here: http://rainbowaftersandy.blogspot.com/

Kristin B. Eno and Ellie Balk headed up a team of Brooklyn artists to paint a mural on a donated trailer. The trailer equipped with computers, was being used for free legal aid. Multiple local churches used the heated trailer to hold their church services in the hard-hit community.

Exhibitions: GO: a community-curated open studio project

During GO, Brooklyn-based artists were asked to open their studios to the community on September 8–9, 2012. Community members registered as voters visited studios and nominated artists for inclusion in a group exhibition to open at the Brooklyn Museum on Target First Saturday, December 1, 2012.
